The owner, Dallas Dick, has been doing photography for nearly 27 years. He started with 35mm SLR camera in 1987 and transitioned to digital photograph in 2004. Dallas is largely a self-taught photographer who has attended workshops on such topics as developing 35mm negatives to prints and computer editing of digital photographs. This enables him to fix prints and digital photograph.

Dallas is a full-time permanent employee in the photograph department at Tamastslikt Cultural Institute. He works with historic photographs as well as contemporary. In addition he works part-time photographer for Confederated Umatilla Journal - CTUIR's monthly newspaper - as sports, events and outdoor scenery photographer.
